Can you give us an introduction to Uprated?
Hello - we’re Uprated, the digital marketing agency that uses an evidence-based approach to deliver campaigns that are proven to deliver growth for our clients.
We work across Paid Media, SEO, Social channels and also deliver beautiful websites. Founded in 2014, we work with local, national and international businesses, bringing measurable growth. We are a super talented team of 15, with most of us living in Dorset and Hampshire.
Your website mentions that confidence and trust are earned. How does Uprated build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients?
Our aim is for our clients to view us as a partner and not a supplier. It’s a cliche, but we really do want them to view us as an extension of their team. But this doesn’t happen overnight. It must be earned.
We deliver measurable growth, which builds trust and confidence. Many of our clients have been with us for over 5 years, which is significantly above the industry average. In simple terms, we have to deliver on our targets, strategy and tactics. Thankfully, we have an exceptionally talented team who bring experience, drive and in-depth sector knowledge that we leverage to grow our clients businesses. Once we demonstrate performance and growth, confidence and trust is a natural outcome.
How has being based in Bournemouth influenced your company’s culture and success, and do you see any advantages in being located here?
We gain a lot of inspiration from where we call home. It allows us to connect to likeminded people (clients or future team members) whether they're based locally, or further afield.
Work life balance is core to our culture as an agency. We work hard but are protective of our teams time, capacity and wellbeing. We are proud to call Bournemouth our home and lean in on this. We regularly explore Dorset with our team social events.
