Nottingham based, British Ugandan singer-songwriter Daudi Matsiko carefully crafts modern albeit reverent folk.

Deft, melancholic picking reminiscent of Nick Drake is tempered by contemporary percusion and instrumentation.

Matsiko’s vocals derive their strenght from their seeming fragility. With every song, his confessional lyrics cut to the marrow.

After receiving a standing ovation at this years The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, Matsiko's much anticipated debut album is expected early 2024.
