Shaftesbury Feastival is home of the iconic Gold Hill Cheese Run, which sees participants racing uphill carrying a wheel of locally-made Blackmore Vale cheese - which are 35cm in diameter! There will also be over 90 traders at the Feastival Artisan Market on the high street showcasing local food and goods alike, chef demos (featuring MasterChef Champion of Champions Ping Coombes!) presented by The Kitchen Table, book signings, and music - and it wouldn’t be a May bank holiday festival without maypole dancing, would it?
