One of her main roles is as a wedding chauffeur, taking lucky couples on their dream wedding day in and around the picturesque landscapes of Dorset. Dressed in her wedding garland, ribbon and bows, Ruby becomes the perfect chariot for couples embarking on their new life together.
Jonathan explains, "Ruby's lipstick red bodywork is perfectly suited to weddings as red symbolises luck, joy and happiness. It also represents celebration, vitality and fertility." Indeed, Ruby's very presence adds a touch of celebration to every wedding she attends.
But Ruby's services don't end there. At wedding receptions, she surprises guests by 'popping her top' to reveal her transformation into a PhotoBooth. Newlyweds and their guests can enjoy capturing precious moments inside this nostalgic setting.
Beyond weddings, Ruby's PhotoBooth service extends to other private and special events.

With her charm and uniqueness, Ruby has garnered quite a following on social media. Jonathan, Ruby's chauffeur, collaborates with local brands to promote their businesses. Ruby's interior design is a blend of functionality and vintage charm, wth ample space for Jonathan and up to three passengers. The kitchen unfolds to reveal two gas hobs, a gas grill, sink, fridge and even a wine rack, ensuring that every journey is as enjoyable as the destination.
As the day turns to night, Ruby's versatile interior adapts effortlessly to provide cosy sleeping quarters for two on the Rock & Roll bed, while two more occupants can enjoy the snug space in the pop top. To power up electric devices, Ruby offers a choice of solar panels, a leisure battery and electric hookups, ensuring modern convenience blends harmoniously with nostalgic elegance.
A road trip adventure
Over the six years of ownership, Jonathan and Ruby have explored various regions, weaving their way through picturesque landscapes and charming towns. Ruby has traversed Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Gloucester, Berkshire and West Sussex. She even enjoys the occasional ferry ride to the
Isle of Wight.
Beyond the UK, they embarked on an incredible month-long road trip through Spain, Portugal and France, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
"One day we were by the beach hanging out with the surfers, the next day we were at the top of the Europa Mountains hanging out with snowboarders," Jonathan recounts with a grin.
Future visions and invitations
Looking ahead, Ruby envisions herself becoming the star of a local brand's national advertising campaign. Wrapped in the brand's livery, she dreams of setting off on a Ruby Road Trip, promoting the brand "On the Road" and sharing her vintage allure with an even broader audience.
