The Garden Room Studio
The Garden Room is a young creative design studio founded by partners in life and design Matt and Elle Evans. Located just a stones throw from the shores of Poole Harbour and the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, Matt and Elle work extensively across Dorset, London and the South of England. They aspire to design memorable spaces and experiences where their affinity for luxury laidback living shines through.
Elle graduated with a degree in Fashion Styling and built a successful career as a creative stylist, collaborating with some of the world’s most renowned lifestyle, fashion, and luxury homeware brands, including Missoni, Tom Dixon, Ferm Living, Ralph Lauren, and Broste Copenhagen. Today, she manages all of The Garden Room Studio’s clients’ interior design needs, while also coordinating their wedding, event styling, and home staging services.
Matt specialises in Landscapes having studied with the British Academy of Garden Design. He has always had a passion for the outdoors, spending much of his childhood working with family in the garden in his native rural Essex and has in the past worked extensively in hard landscaping and site construction. Sustainability and the environment are always at the heart of Matt’s designs, and as a surfer he has a keen interest in coastal landscapes and protecting the marine environment. Matt thrives on creating inspired garden landscapes, designing spaces which form a sustainable link between architecture and terrain.
