Ricky Also, an artist and designer, co-owns Paintshop Studio & Gallery with his partner Sandra Ramos. In 2007, they founded the studio with the idea of using a mix of graffiti art and graphic design to help brands connect with new audiences. As their approach became more popular, they focused on using murals for interiors and exteriors to transform spaces and create a positive impact on the world. Although based in Poole, their work can be seen throughout the UK, utilizing large-scale designs and hand-painted murals.

Ricky's personal artistic style features interlocking layers of exaggerated letterforms that have been developed over time, stemming from his background in graffiti and graphic design. His work can be experienced in the form of murals around Bournemouth and the UK, as well as smaller art prints and hand-painted skateboard decks available for purchase online or in their studio & shop space located on Kingland Crescent in Poole.
