Edd and Charlie are the creative minds behind Pearhaus, a Poole-based coffee company. Their love for coffee originated during weekend trips to London, where they frequented small independent coffee roasteries and savored delicious food and drinks. In 2019, they decided to take their passion for coffee to the next level and began experimenting with home roasting specialty coffee. Over time, they fine-tuned their craft, trying out different roasts, processes, and brew methods.
The name 'Pearhaus' is a nod to their family name and the fact that they started their roasting journey at their home or 'haus.' However, Edd and Charlie are not just passionate about roasting great coffee, they are also committed to making a positive impact on the coffee industry. They have a strong focus on ethically sourced, high-quality coffee that supports coffee-growing communities. Their constantly changing lineup of coffee is sourced in-season, ensuring the highest quality.
In addition to their commitment to ethical sourcing, Pearhaus is also environmentally conscious. The company takes steps to minimize their impact on the environment, using recyclable packaging and obtaining carbon-neutral certification. Edd and Charlie also support the Stumping Project in Ethiopia and are proud supporters of Ecologi, contributing to carbon-reducing projects worldwide.
