Mildred Makes
Mildred Makes is a brand that celebrates creativity and sustainability through upcycling preloved items, particularly second-hand plates and ceramics. Founder Kate was inspired to create something fun and current using these once unwanted and undesirable pieces. With a background in typography, Kate began exploring quotes and puns that she could add to the plates. The best part of the process for her is seeing someone read the puns and laugh out loud, bringing a smile to their face. Since its founding in February 2022, Mildred Makes has been spreading joy and humour through its unique and eco-friendly creations.
